Machine Gun Kelly Talks Sobriety and Support from Megan Fox
Machine Gun Kelly, who has been sober for the past year, recently discussed his journey to sobriety on the Dumb Blonde podcast with Bunnie XO. The rapper-turned-rocker, whose real name is Colson Baker, revealed that his August 2023 rehab stint was his first experience with rehabilitation.
He shared how the process taught him various techniques to manage his anger and body, despite some therapists giving up on him. MGK acknowledged that his condition remains challenging and described it as a “constant tightrope walk,” though he did not provide further details about his condition.
MGK credited his girlfriend Megan Fox with providing significant support throughout his sobriety, including dealing with psychological withdrawals. He expressed gratitude for her help and his personal growth, noting that he is learning to be more open about himself rather than relying solely on his art. In a lighter moment, MGK joked about his ability to outdrink Jelly Roll in a drinking contest, a comment that Bunnie XO appreciated.

Rema and Asake Feature in Barack Obama’s Favorite Songs of 2024
Two Nigerian music stars, Rema and Asake, have earned a place in former U.S. President Barack Obama’s annual list of favorite songs for 2024.
On Saturday, Obama shared his handpicked selection of tracks from the year, and both artists’ songs were included.
Rema’s hit single Yayo and Asake’s collaboration with Travis Scott on Active made the prestigious list..
The list also saw the inclusion of another African artist, South Africa’s Tyla, who was featured for her song Jump, a track featuring Gunna and Skillibeng.
In addition to the African stars, Nigerian-American singers Shaboozey and Jordan Adetunji also appeared on Obama’s playlist.
Shaboozey’s A Bar Song and Adetunji’s Kehlani were celebrated for their unique sound, adding diversity to the mix.
As expected, the list also featured big names from the global music scene, with legendary artists like Kendrick Lamar, Beyoncé, and Karol G all making an appearance.
These mainstream stars continue to dominate the music industry, but Obama’s inclusion of emerging artists such as Rema and Asake shows his appreciation for a variety of musical genres.
On sharing his list with his followers via X (formerly Twitter), Obama encouraged fans to explore the tracks, saying, “Here are my favorite songs from this year!
Check them out if you’re looking to shake up your playlist, and let me know if there’s a song or artist I should make sure to listen to.”
