Man City Wins Legal Battle Against Premier League

Manchester City appear to have won a key legal battle against the Premier League regarding APT rules. These rules regulate how much sponsors can pay clubs, and City challenged them.
A vote to amend the APT system was expected during a Thursday meeting, but it was removed from the agenda. This suggests that City may have succeeded in their legal challenge. However, this case is separate from the 115 charges the club faces related to financial misconduct in the Premier League era.

Toni Kroos Says Pedri Is More Valuable to Barça Than Lewandowski and Yamal

Former Real Madrid star Toni Kroos believes Pedri is the most valuable player in Barcelona’s squad right now, even more than the likes of Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski, and Raphinha. Despite the trio combining for 86 goals this season and helping push Barça toward a possible treble, Kroos insists Pedri’s influence runs deeper.
Speaking on his podcast Einfach mal Luppen, Kroos said, “Players like Yamal, Raphinha, and Lewandowski might be the ones scoring and deciding matches, but for me, Pedri is the most important. Right now, he’s the best in the world in his position.” Under coach Hansi Flick, Pedri has featured in 54 games so far, with six goals and seven assists to his name—solid numbers that don’t even fully reflect his impact on the pitch.

Arsenal midfielder Jorginho is set to leave the Premier League and sign a three-year deal with Brazilian giants Flamengo, keeping him at the club until 2028. Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the Italian international will join Flamengo as a free agent once his contract with Arsenal expires at the end of the season.

Jorginho, 33, first arrived in England in 2018, joining Chelsea from Napoli. He spent five years at Stamford Bridge before making the move across London to Arsenal in 2023.

Arteta Tells Arsenal to Give It All in Champions League Showdown

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has made it clear—his players need to be ready to lay everything on the line if they want a shot at the Champions League final.
The Gunners face a tough test on Wednesday as they head to Paris to take on PSG in the second leg of their semi-final. They’re chasing a comeback after falling 1-0 in the first leg, with history on the line—a win would mark just their second ever Champions League final appearance.
Speaking to ESPN, Arteta couldn’t hide his emotions ahead of the big night at Parc des Princes.
“It’s excitement, it’s that feeling of goosebumps, just wanting the day to come,” he said. “We’re ready, we believe, and this is a rare chance—to play in a Champions League final. When you’re this close, you’ve got to be ready to give it everything.” In a major boost for the squad, Thomas Partey returns after missing the first leg through suspension.
