Napoli is asking for Rasmus Hojlund plus £33.6 million from Manchester United to sign Victor Osimhen this summer. Manchester United is eager to add a strong striker to Ruben Amorim’s squad after a trophyless 2024/25 season. They have been linked to Liam Delap from Ipswich Town, who has a £30 million release clause due to Ipswich’s relegation. However, Delap seems to prefer a move to Chelsea, leaving Manchester United to look for other options.

According to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, United has increased talks with Napoli about Osimhen. Last week, United’s director of football, Matt Hargreaves, traveled to Italy to meet Napoli’s owner Aurelio De Laurentiis and sporting director Giovanni Manna to push for the deal. Osimhen has a £63 million release clause that applies only to clubs outside Italy. Currently on loan at Galatasaray until June, the Nigerian forward has yet to decide where he will play next.
