Manchester City have reportedly set their sights on Nigerian defender Ola Aina as a potential long-term replacement for Kyle Walker.

With Walker, now 34, entering the latter stages of his career, the Premier League champions are exploring options to secure their defensive future.

Aina, who has been a key figure for Nottingham Forest this season, has impressed with his versatility and consistency.

Capable of playing as both a right-back and a left-back, the 27-year-old has featured in 19 Premier League matches for Forest, scoring twice and earning praise for his solid performances.

Aina’s journey began at Chelsea, where he came through the academy system before moving on to Torino in Serie A.

The Federal Government has announced an extension of the NYSC programme. It can be noted that the NYSC camp orientation is usually for three weeks before the youths go out to gain experience, employment, and serve the country for one year.

The final two weeks, we intend to have focused corps-stream-specific training aligned with the corps member’s designated stream based on his choice, academic background and skills profile.”
