May D Claims He Was Once Bigger Than Wizkid and Davido
Nigerian singer May D recently made a bold claim about his past, stating that he was once on par with, and even bigger than, Wizkid and Davido.
During an appearance on The Honest Bunch podcast, May D reflected on the early days of his career, asserting that he, along with Wizkid and Davido, were the top three biggest artists in Nigeria at the time.
He even went as far as to say that at one point, he was more popular than both stars, especially during the peak of his hit single “Soundtrack.”
May D pointed out the significance of the song, comparing it to Wizkid’s breakout hit “Holla at Your Boy,” suggesting that his music had a more substantial impact in those days.

The artist revealed this information in a recent interview with Chude, on the Honest Bunch Podcast. “For the four years I was with P-Square, I didn’t have a bank account. It’s only when someone has money that he opens an account.”
