Mr. Macaroni Laments to Lagos State Governor Over Traffic Cause

Nigerian Comedian, Mr Macaroni expresses dissatisfaction with the Governor of Lagos State over traffic issues.
It can be reported that Lagos has been suffering through a serious traffic phase. The reason behind this was revealed to be the Independence Bridge repairs.
Governor Sanwo Olu then pleaded with Lagosians to bear with the traffic as the repair is necessary. “Let’s think outside the box. If you don’t have business to do in Victoria Island in the next 2 to 3 weeks, conduct your business online and plan ahead.”
However, Mr Macaroni reacts to the Governor’s plea by stating “If the government had any regard whatsoever for the people of Lagos, these measures and more extensive ones would have been taken before yesterday to make this process as painless as possible for the people.”
He lamented on the serious effect that this traffic has taken on people’s day to day life and shared that the government didn’t consider its people.

Wumi Toriola Reveals She May Not Be a Good Wife, But Still Wants Kids With Ex-Husband

Nigerian actress Wumi Toriola reveals she has no interest in marriage but she will like to have more kids with her ex-husband.
It can be recalled that the actress went through a divorce in 2023 and shared her reason for ending. The actress stated that her husband always teased her during arguments.
In a recent interview, the actress shares that even if she gets back with her ex husband, their relationship wouldn’t wok out because she won’t be a good wife.
“I’m not interested in getting married now, but I want to have more babies with my ex-husband. My ex-husband told me that I may not be a good wife to him if we come back together, but he later told me that I’m a good mother to our children. He’s not married to another person yet, but I can’t say if he’s already in a relationship, but right now we’re co-parenting very well.”

“I Lost My Mum and My Marriage Ended” – Funke Akindele Opens Up on Her Struggles

Nollywood star Funke Akindele has opened up about her struggles, revealing that she’s been solely responsible for raising her kids without support from her ex-husband, Abdulrasheed Bello, better known as JJC Skillz.
The actress and filmmaker, who tied the knot with JJC in 2016 and welcomed their twin boys in 2018, parted ways with him in 2022. JJC had announced their separation on Instagram, stating that they had chosen different paths and were still sorting out issues around custody and shared business ventures.
In a recent sit-down with Chude Jideonwo, Funke got candid about the emotional toll her personal life had taken on her, especially after her mother’s passing and her loss in the 2023 elections.
“I don’t like to dwell on grief,” she said. “When my mum died, I just wanted to move on quickly. But I didn’t give myself time to truly feel it, and it all came crashing down later. I nearly lost myself.”
She recounted how online backlash pushed her over the edge. “One day, I just picked up my phone and went live. I was overwhelmed. People were accusing me of things I didn’t do. I had just lost my mum, my marriage ended, politics didn’t go well, and I still had to show up and work. I have kids I’m taking care of on my own. And people still wanted to drag me?”
For the first time in a long while, she broke down. “I cried for weeks. I was mentally drained,” she admitted.
