Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh revealed that the influence of her so-called friends caused her music career to fail.

The actress recalled how her friends encouraged her to release an album after hyping her up that she could sing — until her music career eventually crashed.

“If I could sing, ehn, una for don dey sick of me. Like, you don’t even understand. Likeeeeeeeeee, who is Tiwa? Who is Whitney? Who is CeCe Winans? Taaahhhhhhh! Watching this video reminds me of the time I had the worst kind of friends who pushed me to release an album.”

“Look, Sneeze, Sniper, and co — your bedrooms have been reserved in hell. Moral of the lesson: choose your friends wisely; more importantly, be wise.”
