A controversy has started online after Naira Marley revealed that money he once sent to help Mohbad ended up in the account of the late singer’s mother-in-law. The revelation has caused debates, with women on TikTok holding live sessions to share their thoughts and worries.

According to Marley, in November 2022, Mohbad asked him to send money for his treatment. Instead of providing his own details, Mohbad reportedly gave him a bank account under the name Adesanya Justina Olajumoke, who turned out to be his mother-in-law. Marley admitted he was surprised by the request but still completed the transaction.

This disclosure has now raised eyebrows on social media. Many TikTok users questioned why Mohbad would rely on his wife’s mother’s account when he had direct family members who could manage his finances. Some participants even hinted at possible hidden motives, while others suggested there might have been deeper family or spiritual issues behind the arrangement.
