National Hospital Abuja Seeks Public Assistance to Identify Unconscious Accident Victim
The National Hospital Abuja has issued an appeal to the public for assistance in identifying a middle-aged man who remains unconscious after being involved in a road traffic accident.
The unidentified patient was brought to the hospital’s Trauma ICU on December 21, 2024, by a good Samaritan and has been receiving medical care since.
According to the hospital’s spokesperson, Dr. Tayo Haastrup, the accident occurred along the Jabi Express Road.
“The management of the hospital is hereby appealing to any member of the public whose relation has not been seen since the aforementioned date to please come to the Trauma ICU of the National Hospital Abuja for identification and further necessary action,” Dr. Haastrup stated in a press release on Sunday, December 29.
Members of the public are encouraged to visit the hospital to help reunite the patient with his family.

Fire Incident Reported at Murtala Muhammed Airport
It has been reported that fire occurred at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos (MMIA), Terminal 1. This fire incident occurred on Monday, 23rd of February, 2026.
Passengers at that terminal were spotted running away for safety after seeing the fire and the alarm.
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) released a statement and shared that no life was lost and people were saved and avoided danger.
