Nedu Clears the Air on Leaving The Honest Bunch Podcast
Nigerian media personality Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, known as Nedu, has spoken out about his exit from The Honest Bunch podcast.
His departure followed backlash over a recent episode featuring reality star Deeone, who claimed that social media critic VeryDarkMan (VDM) was attracted to men.
In response, VDM accused Nedu of fueling the allegations, stating that the podcaster had been trying to get him on the show since 2024 and even offered to buy him a car as an incentive.
Despite the controversy, Nedu announced he was leaving the podcast, sparking rumors that he had been fired. Addressing the speculation at a press briefing in Lagos, he clarified that his decision was voluntary.
“I wasn’t fired from The Honest Bunch Podcast. I stepped away when the attacks got personal so the show could continue,” he explained.
