Nigerian media personality Nedu Wazobia has expressed his disapproval of the widespread outrage over the controversial drag queen depiction of the Last Supper at the Paris 2024 Olympics opening ceremony.

During a broadcast on Naija 102.7 radio station, Nedu questioned the legitimacy of the anger among Christians. He said, “The Olympics ceremony used drag queens for the Last Supper pictures, so I asked people why they are complaining.”

Nedu argued that since it was the Westerners who introduced Christianity to Africans, their anger towards the Olympic board was misguided.
