Netflix is set to enrich its April 2025 lineup with several captivating Korean dramas, offering subscribers a diverse range of genres and compelling narratives. Now, here’s a look at the upcoming series:

‘Karma’ (Premiering April 4, 2025)

‘Karma’ is a gripping crime thriller that weaves together the lives of six individuals, each ensnared by fate and their own actions. The ensemble cast includes Park Hae Soo, Shin Min Ah, Lee Hee Joon, Kim Sung Kyun, Lee Kwang Soo, and Gong Seung Yeon.

Also, the story follows a witness to an accident, a doctor plagued by traumatic dreams, a man burdened by loan sharks, and another who loses his job, all connected by an inescapable destiny. The series is set to consist of six episodes, with a runtime yet to be announced.

‘Resident Playbook’ (Debuting April 12, 2025)

As a spin-off of the beloved ‘Hospital Playlist,’ ‘Resident Playbook’ delves into the lives of obstetrics and gynecology residents at the Jongno Branch of Yulje Medical Center.

The drama explores their daily challenges, friendships, and professional growth within one of the hospital’s most demanding departments. Furthermore, the drama will be starring Go Youn Jung, Shin Si Ah, Han Ye Ji, Kang Yoo Seok, and Jung Joon Won, the series is slated for 12 episodes, each approximately 60 minutes long. New episodes will be available weekly starting April 12.

‘Heavenly Ever After’ (Scheduled for April 2025)

Next, ‘Heavenly Ever After’ is a fantasy romance that transcends the boundaries between life and the afterlife. Notably, the narrative follows Hae-sook, who, after leading a fulfilling life, ascends to heaven only to find her husband, Nak-joon, restored to his 30-year-old self.

Moreover, their reunion in the afterlife leads to a series of heartfelt and humorous events. In addition, the cast features Kim Hye Ja, Han Ji Min, Lee Jung Eun, Son Suk Ku, and Ryu Deok Hwan. The series comprises 12 episodes, each around 60 minutes, with weekly releases beginning in April.

‘Weak Hero Class 2’ (Premiering April 25, 2025)

Following the success of its first season, ‘Weak Hero Class 2’ continues the story of Yeon Si-eun, a top student who uses his intelligence and resourcefulness to navigate the challenges of high school life and bullying.

Also, the new season introduces Ryeoun, Choi Min-young, and Lee Min-jae as allies, with Bae Na-ra and Lee Jun-young joining as new antagonists.

In conclusion, the season is set to closely follow the original webtoon, with intense fight scenes and emotional depth. The first season gained acclaim for its portrayal of school violence and resilience.
