“New York Feels Like Lagos” — Ayra Starr Opens Up About Her Relocation

Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has revealed that she has relocated from Nigeria to New York City, United States.

During a recent interview, the singer confirmed her move, saying “I do live in New York. I moved in officially less than two months ago. I am always in New York regardless.”

Afterwards, she shared her experience with the change and stated that New York reminds her of Lagos.
“New York reminds me so much of Lagos. There are a lot of Nigerians. There is a huge African diaspora here. So it feels like home,” she added.
