Nigerian Comedian, Young Elder, Gives Back with Nursing Home For Elderly

Nigerian Comedian, Young Elder, speaks on his decision of building a nursing home for the elderly. The comedian shared that he’s building a nursing home because he believes in honoring and positively impacting the elderly.
In a recent interview with Sunday Telegraph, the comedians speaks on family themes and shares his reason for building a nursing home for the elderly.
The comedian first emphasized on the importance of young people supporting their parents in any way possible and spoke on making little sacrifices for them.
“Growing up in a polygamous and struggling family was tough for me. I remember attending Oregbeni Estate Primary School, Patricia Group of Schools, and the University of Benin where I studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering, graduating in 2012. It was tough.”
- “So, living my dream was almost impossible, but I persevered and resolved that once I become somebody in the society I must contribute to the upliftment of others. My preference here is the elderly whom I mimic and whose image and wisdom I depict in my comedy.”

Rema gathered a total of 223 millions streams, assisted because of his single “Is It Crime”, which was a total 14 million streams.
While the second most streamed Nigerian Artist is Burna Boy with a total of 171 million streams in the first quarter of 2025.
Third on the list for the most streamed Nigerian on YouTube is Ayra Starr, who has a total of 169 million streams.
