Nollywood star Toke Makinwa has opened up about her desire to give marriage another shot, describing it as one of the most beautiful institutions despite its many challenges.

In a conversation with British-Nigerian media personality Madame Joyce during a podcast interview, Toke reflected on her past experiences and shared her thoughts on love, relationships, and her hopes for the future.

“It hasn’t happened yet. I’m not ruling it out,” she shared, adding that she believes timing is everything and trusts that it will happen when the moment is right.

Toke’s comments also addressed misconceptions about her views on men, as some people have labeled her a feminist who criticizes men.

She clarified that her experiences have shaped her perspective, but they haven’t diminished her belief in the value of companionship and commitment.

The actress also took the opportunity to address recent rumors about her personal life.

Reports had surfaced suggesting she secretly tied the knot with her rumored longtime partner, Farouk Umar.

However, Toke dismissed these claims, describing Farouk as her “bestie” and clarifying that the supposed wedding was actually a thanksgiving event.
