Nigerian Rapper Odumodublvck Recounts Overdose Scare and Journey to Sobriety
Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck spoke up about his experience with drugs and how he escaped addiction.
During a recent interview, the rapper revealed that he battled drug addiction until he overdosed but luckily escaped death. “I was a very bright student while studying at the University of Lagos. But I was indulging in illicit drugs. One day, I took it and almost died. I called my mother to book my flight to return to Abuja. After that incident, I only took drugs once before quitting.”
“I’m grateful because there are some people that went into that life [illicit substance consumption] and they didn’t make it out. Some people didn’t make it alive, some had lost people to it — they died because of drug abuse.”

It can be noted that the singer took to social media asking for a graphic designer to create a flyer, which later turned into a challenge that many criticised, stating it undervalued creatives.
Moses Bliss has now issued an apology, saying “I sincerely apologize to every graphic designer who felt disrespected or undervalued… that was never my intention.”
He added “The goal was to give creatives a platform to showcase their work, not to undermine their value.”
