“No Permission, No Soap!” – Actor Jide Awobona Rants Over Street Car Washers in Traffic
Nigerian Actor Jide Awobona takes to social media and laments about a trait he doesn’t like when it comes to traffic in Nigeria.
The actor talks about how street vendors always come to wash cars in traffic without consent. He expressed displeasure with this fact and explain how he is tired of it.
“Enough is enough. Get your camera ready in Lagos and Ibadan, I’m about to become a masquerade, I need a koboko or pankere plug.
“I can’t take this anymore, I don’t know how others feel but as for me, I can’t take you washing my car in traffic, no permission no nothing. Who told you I even wash my car with soap? Just beg for money or sell kulikuli. They may not see this but in case you see me flogging someone on the road, this has to be the reason.”
Nigerian singer Asake speaks on his relationship with his father. In a recent interview he shared that he loves his father despite any distance.
“The love is still the same between me and my dad, even if I don’t live with him or see him every day, Even if he points a gun at me, till eternity he will always be my dad, and I will still show him the same love.”
It can be noted that few weeks back the singer gifted his father and his mother a car.

Mother of Nigerian singer, Asake revealed that he once rejected the opportunity to study abroad.
In a recent interview with Korty EO, the singer shared that it was against his father to pursue music. His mother then recalled how he came to turn them down on studying abroad and stated he wanted to stay and learn in Nigeria.
The singer studied performing arts at OAU.
