Nigerian actor, Yemi Solade, has revealed why he stopped attending church for many years and what has changed in his life since then.

In a recent interview, the actor recalled an uncomfortable encounter he had in church back in 2013, which made him question certain practices.

He explained how the experience affected his career and led him to reflect deeply on his faith. According to him, a statement made in church changed his perspective, as he did not believe in it.

“The notion that if you don’t attend church, one’s life will nosedive — I have not seen anything change. Rather, I have peace, I do well. Because every day of my life when I was going to church, I got messages, all sorts of disturbances.”
