Nigerian actress Uche Ogbodo has opened up about the wedding she never had, sharing an emotional reflection after appearing in a wedding dress.

The actress shared photos and a video of herself in a bridal gown as she reflected on the wedding ceremony and future she once imagined for herself.

She wrote: “The wedding I never had. Sometimes, we grieve not just what happened, but what we imagined would happen. The dress, the vows, the celebration, the forever we thought we were building.

“Life didn’t go exactly as I imagined, but I’m learning that the story isn’t over. Maybe the wedding I never had was making room for a life I never knew I deserved.”

Tayo-Osikoya, a Nigerian chef has highlighted the impact of the rising cost of living on Nigerians, describing hunger and the difficulty of feeding families as major issues that are often underestimated.

She said, “If you take away the burden of feeding from the average Nigerian, you’ve solved a huge part of their problems.”

Her comment comes amid growing concerns over the cost of food and the pressure it places on Nigerian households.

Nigerians also reacted to the statement, with many agreeing that the rising prices of food and other essential items have made it increasingly difficult for families, particularly those on lower incomes, to afford daily meals.

Nigerian singer Joeboy has opened up about relationships and marriage, revealing that he would prefer to keep his family life private if he eventually gets married.

The singer said he would like to get married early, but revealed that he would not announce it publicly if he got married now.

He said, “I saw an interview of Timini. He’s like the ideal playboy; almost all the girls claim to love him, and he was like, he wished he got married early.

“Personally, I would rather get married early. But if I get married right now, nobody is going to know. Maybe when I have like three kids, people will now find out that Joeboy has a whole family somewhere.”
