Omotola Says Her Values Stopped Her From Becoming a Billionaire
Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Nigerian actress, reveals that sticking to her values has prevented her from being a billionaire.
During a recent interview she shared how she had opportunities to become rich but it needed her to compromise her values.
“If I wanted to be a billionaire I would have been it easily because I have been in situations where no one would have known and I would have taken things and compromised my stands, but I would say no, and I would walk away. Many times, and some of those people are even watching me today.”
Prince Eke, Nigerian actor, calls out celebrities and states that they do not deserve to influence Nigerians.
He shared how these celebrities do not speak out when it is needed regarding the fact that no one speaks when something is wrong with the government. He shared how their voice could help and could also influence their fans to speak up as well, which can make a change in the country.
“The earlier you understand that most of these so-called celebrities are not worth being influenced by, the better for you. Actors and musicians alike watched Nigeria drown in corruption and bad governance and kept their mouths shut.”
