Osimhen Injured During Nigeria–Congo Qualifier, Galatasaray Issues Statement
Galatasaray gives an update on their injured player, Victor Osimhen. It can be recalled that the player sustained an injury when playing with Nigeria in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Congo.
“In the MRI examination performed today at our sponsor hospital Acıbadem, our football player Victor Osimhen, a moderate level of strain (strain and bleeding) was detected in his left posterior muscle and treatment has been started.”
The player is notably going to be absent from the match on Saturday.
Nigerian footballer Victor Osimhen spoke about his childhood days and the difficult experiences he faced growing up.
He revealed that his mother was the breadwinner of the family and that her death deeply affected them.
“My mom was the breadwinner of the family, but she and my dad never had issues because of it.”
He shared that when his mother passed away, they not only missed her emotionally but also struggled financially without her support.
