Victor Osimhen believes Galatasaray will still secure a spot in the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 despite their tough 4-1 loss to AZ Alkmaar in the first leg of their playoff clash on Thursday.

The Nigerian striker was absent from the match due to suspension but remains confident that his team will turn things around in the second leg next week.

Speaking to Fotomac, Osimhen assured fans that Galatasaray will put on a dominant display in Istanbul.

“The second leg will be completely different. With our fans behind us, we will show what Galatasaray is truly made of,” he said.

“I will get my goals. Leave AZ Alkmaar to me. We will be the ones going through. I have no doubts about that. Everyone just needs to stay positive.”
