Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, recently criticized male clergy who wear braided hair and female clergy who use false eyelashes and heavy makeup.

Speaking at the church’s annual convention, Adeboye emphasized that such trends would no longer be tolerated within the church.

He argued that these practices do not align with the church’s values and warned that any pastor, especially female pastors, who adopt such appearances will be removed from the altar.

Adeboye urged modesty and encouraged people to appreciate their natural appearance, stating that altering one’s look suggests dissatisfaction with God’s creation.

He also made a specific point about women who expose their bodies, asserting that they do so because they believe they are unattractive.
