Pastor William Kumuyi Receives Recognition from the World Book of Records
Pastor William Kumuyi has made headlines after receiving recognition from the World Book of Records, London.
The organization recognized the pastor for his contributions to education, humanitarian service, and global faith. The announcement was made on social media on August 2.
He wrote “I received an Inclusion Letter from the World Book of Records, London, @WBRLONDON. Humbled by this recognition, my focus remains unchanged: winning souls for Christ.”
He added “Through five years of #GCK, God enabled us to reach over 50 million lives and see more than 900,900,000 saved. All glory to God alone!”

Peller Laments Theft of Guests’ Phones at Wedding Ceremony
Nigerian TikTok influencer Peller has complained that many of his wedding guests either lost their phones or had them stolen during the ceremony.
He shared that he has had to cover the cost of replacing some of the phones. “They stole a lot of phones yesterday. Everybody is calling. I don pay for phone tire.”
He also wrote “August 8th is the day they will join us together as one, which is our white wedding. 100 guests only. Please, if I did not send you an invitation, do not come. Agbero, please don’t come and stay outside the venue. They will pack any agbero they see outside and take you where you don’t know because you guys stole many phones yesterday. I just dey get different calls about people’s phones being snatched outside.”

Nigerian media personality and TV host Frank Edoho has sparked debate after lamenting the high cost of real estate in Nigeria.
Frank compared property prices in Nigeria to those abroad.
“The real estate industry is armed robbery. Leonardo DiCaprio owns an island in America that costs $1.7 million. There’s a house in Osapa, it is $1.5 million; Osapa that has no drainage. It is armed robbery…” Many Nigerians then reacted and shared their thoughts.
