Michelle Obama Shares Powerful Relationship Advice: “Find a Partner Who Can Do It All”

Published

Former First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama gives inspirational advice on relationships. She shares the qualities one should find in their partner to be able to consider a good spouse.

Michelle gives the advise in the sense of a basketball analogy, explaining that a coach will prefer a player who is skilled in many areas than one who is not.

She then added more “Everybody has to be able to do it all. Each person in a couple has to be able and willing to do it all. You don’t want to marry a man who is like ‘I don’t cook’. It’s like, well, what happens if I can’t cook?”

‘Life is just so unpredictable” and each partner should be able to step in when their partner is not capable. Or if you’re the woman and you can’t balance the checkbook because you’ve left that to him. Life is too complicated for two partners not to be real equals in it.”

She the captions the video on her social media with “Find a partner who isn’t just willing to divide and conquer, but who’s capable of covering for you during life’s unpredictable moments.
