Police Investigate False 9-1-1 Call at Chris Pine’s Home

Published

on

Police recently visited Chris Pine’s home in response to a suspected false 9-1-1 call. According to TMZ, the Los Angeles Police Department received a report from an anonymous caller claiming to have been sexually assaulted at Pine’s address, but no evidence of a crime was found when officers arrived.

Pine appeared surprised by the police presence and spoke with the officers before they suspected the report was fabricated. When they tried to call the anonymous caller back, he was uncooperative and hung up. Authorities now believe he may not live in California and are investigating further. The caller might face charges for filing a false police report and is linked to three other similar calls. Pine has dealt with false reports in the past, but none led to legal consequences. He previously pleaded guilty to a DUI in New Zealand in 2014, which was later expunged.

Gracie Abrams recently canceled her October 6 concert at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall due to a vocal injury, as per her doctor’s advice. The 25-year-old singer apologized to fans, expressing her deep disappointment, especially knowing many had lined up early or traveled long distances for the sold-out performance. She shared the news on Instagram, stating how devastated she was to cancel the show.

Abrams has been on her *The Secret of Us* tour, which began on September 5 in Portland, Oregon, and will end on October 10 in Portland, Maine. Though she’s scheduled to perform in Philadelphia on October 8, it’s unclear if this injury will affect that show.

Ticket holders for the canceled New York show were reassured that a new date would be announced soon, with all tickets still valid. Abrams also looks forward to rejoining Taylor Swift on the second North American leg of *The Eras Tour* later this year.

Bobrisky Claims N5 Million Paid for Pardon in Money Laundering Case

Published

Controversial cross-dresser Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, has alleged that he paid N5 million upfront to an unnamed Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in hopes of securing a Federal Government pardon for money laundering charges filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The claim was revealed in a leaked audio recording shared on October 7, 2024, by social media influencer Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan (VDM). The recording, made on May 16, 2024, features Bobrisky stating that the SAN initially requested N10 million, but he could not raise the full amount due to his account being frozen by the EFCC.

“I’m supposed to finish my sentence by July, but if we get the amnesty, I could leave by the first week of next month,” Bobrisky allegedly said. He added that his godfather provided him with N5 million, which was sent to the SAN two weeks prior, and that the request for pardon has already been submitted.

Last week, it was reported that SAN Femi Falana denied any connection to Bobrisky, stating that he had no dealings with the cross-dresser and that their only communication was through his son, Folarin Falana, also known as Falz.

Taylor Swift Named Richest Female Musician at $1.6 Billion

Published

on

Taylor Swift is now the richest female musician in the world with an estimated net worth of $1.6 billion, surpassing Rihanna. She is second overall among musicians, trailing only Jay-Z, who has a net worth of $2.5 billion. While Rihanna once held a peak net worth of $1.77 billion, Swift is on track to claim the title of the “richest female musician of all time.”

Forbes attributed Swift’s fortune largely to the success of her Eras Tour, which brought in $600 million in tour revenue and royalties. Her music catalog is valued at another $600 million, while real estate investments total $125 million. Swift also earned $100 million from Spotify streaming in 2023, driven by albums like *Midnights* and *1989 (Taylor’s Version)*. Unlike many artists, Swift’s wealth comes almost entirely from her music career, making her the first musician to achieve a 10-figure net worth without relying on business ventures.

Swift became a billionaire in October 2023 and is finishing her Eras Tour in late 2023. She recently endorsed Kamala Harris for president, which prompted a harsh response from Donald Trump, who had previously spread false claims that she supported him.
