Police React to Photos of Suspected Bandits Posing with Naira Notes
Nigeria Police Force spokesperson, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, responded to viral photos and videos of suspected bandits flaunting Naira notes on social media.
The images sparked criticism from Nigerians on X (formerly Twitter), who questioned the police’s ability to arrest criminals.
Adejobi defended the force, stating that while they can’t apprehend every criminal at once, they arrest many daily.
He urged the public to recognize and appreciate the efforts of security forces in combating crime in Nigeria.
