Polo G Arrested for Gun Possession in Los Angeles
Rapper Polo G, also known as Taurus Tremani Bartlett, was arrested on Saturday, Oct. 19, in Los Angeles for speeding after police found a loaded gun in his car. He was booked for felony possession of a concealed weapon and released on Monday, Oct. 21. The arrest occurred at the intersection of Plummer Street and Topanga Canyon Boulevard, but it is unclear if Bartlett had a valid permit for the firearm, given California’s strict gun laws.
This incident may impact his upcoming Hood Poet tour, which begins on Thursday, Oct. 24, in Denver, where tickets are still available. Bartlett has a history of legal issues, including a 2021 arrest in Miami where charges were dropped after attending an anger management program and a more serious arrest in August 2023 involving a short-barreled rifle. The implications of his latest arrest on his tour remain uncertain.
