Premier League Explains No Penalty for West Ham
The Premier League has clarified why West Ham were not awarded a penalty in their match against Chelsea, despite a seemingly obvious foul. West Ham conceded two early goals, both scored by Nicolas Jackson.
In the 28th minute, Wesley Fofana appeared to pull back Crysencio Summerville inside the box, but referee Samuel Barrott allowed play to continue, and VAR upheld the decision. According to the Premier League, the contact began outside the area and wasn’t considered “sustained holding,” so no penalty was given.

Simone Biles Celebrates Husband’s Touchdown with Tattoos
Simone Biles recently expressed excitement after her husband, Jonathan Owens, scored a touchdown in a football game. Sharing her joy on X (formerly Twitter), the Olympic gymnast wrote, “I ALMOST HAD A HEART ATTACK.” In addition to her online support, Biles showed her dedication with a tattoo—a tiny “J” on her ring finger, done by artist Sydney Smith in Phoenix, Arizona. Biles also got a neck tattoo reading “Made In Heaven.” Both tattoos were completed in 90 minutes, and the artist described the experience as enjoyable.
Biles and Owens, who married in 2023, first connected through the dating app Raya. Despite Owens admitting he didn’t know who Biles was when they first met, she appreciated his honesty. The couple’s mutual support continues, as Owens also cheered Biles on during her medal-winning performance at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
