PSG Beat Real Madrid 4-0 in Club World Cup Semi-Final to Reach Final

Paris Saint-Germain boss Luis Enrique has praised his squad after their stunning 4-0 victory over Real Madrid in the semi-final of the Club World Cup on Wednesday. The Spanish coach said his players gave everything on the pitch, describing the performance as a “great, great match” against one of Europe’s top teams. Despite playing under intense heat, Enrique said the team kept their focus and fought hard till the final whistle.
PSG’s goals came from Fabian Ruiz, Ousmane Dembele, and Goncalo Ramos, sealing a dominant win over Real Madrid, coached by Xabi Alonso. Speaking to PSG TV after the game, Enrique said, “It’s a special moment for us, for the players, the fans, and the entire club. We’ve worked hard all season and now we’re in the final. We want to go all the way and win this.”
He added that while the heat was tough on both teams, PSG pushed through and maintained control. With this win, PSG are set to face Chelsea in the final this Sunday at the MetLife Stadium, and they’ll be hoping to end their impressive run in the tournament with the trophy.

Alexander Isak Says Leaving Newcastle Is Best for Him and Everyone

Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak has opened up about his frustrations at the club, claiming that “promises have been broken” as he pushes for a move elsewhere. Liverpool recently had a major bid for the Swedish forward turned down by the Magpies, and with his future still uncertain, Isak has found himself sidelined by manager Eddie Howe.
After missing the PFA Awards on Tuesday, Isak broke his silence in a statement, saying, “I’ve stayed quiet for a long time while others spoke. That silence allowed people to share their version of events, even though it doesn’t reflect what was actually agreed behind closed doors”.
“Promises were made, and the club has known my position for a long time. Acting now as if these issues are just appearing is misleading. When trust is broken and promises are not kept, the relationship can’t continue. That’s where things stand for me right now, and why a change is the best move for everyone, not just me.”
