Nigerian actress Regina Daniels shares that she has now checked out of marriage, but she still shared her hope of having a daughter.

The actress was speaking on marriage and also shared that she actually hasn’t seen her kids since last year, but hopes to see them soon.

“But for some reason I have checked my mind out of getting married, but I’m yet to have a girl and I must have a girl child. I feel like you’d understand motherhood better when you have a girl child.”

Nigerian skitmaker Nasboi speaks out and defends celebrities over their silence on Nigeria’s current issues.

It can be noted that some people are dragging celebrities for not speaking on recent issues or raising awareness about them.

Nasboi then stepped in to share why they may stay silent and used Mr Macaroni as an example of what might happen.

“People wey get sense, make we reason this matter. Una dey always drag celebrities for not speaking up, but make I remind una of Mr Macaroni. See how dem maltreat am just because he spoke up for everybody. Yet na still people mock am and insult am. You think say other celebrities no dey see all those things?”

Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage faces backlash from the public over her comment on the recent Oyo abduction.

She shared how it is not trending enough, as she just saw it and called for people to speak up.

“This kidnapping incident that happened in Oyo State, I’m just seeing it lately after Spyro’s post came up. The issue is not trending enough as it should.”

People then reacted, saying that she is close to the government and asking why she cannot personally speak up. They criticised the video, stating that she seemed forced to make it.

While a few people spoke up and shared that this is why some celebrities do not speak up due to reactions from the comment section.

Nigerian actor and comedian Bovi Ugboma speaks and reacts after discussing the topic of parents not encouraging dating yet expecting marriage.

He shared this in a recent interview about relationships.

“Most parents, you no wan hear your pikin get boyfriend but when they reach a certain age, you’ll be asking them bring husband. Why have you not brought husband? Where dey wan see husband from?”

Many agreed with his take as they reacted to it. He added “We criminalize the dating culture in Nigeria and now we’re wondering why marriages are breaking,” he stated.
