He made the remark while responding to critics who mocked him for constantly showing off his father’s private jets. According to him, many are clearly upset that he gets to travel the world for free, but he reminded them it’s simply his birthright.

The Afrobeats singer didn’t hold back as he fired back at those downplaying his hard work because of his wealthy background. He threw in some sarcasm, saying that maybe in his next life, he would be a vulcaniser so people would finally rest.

Taking to his X account, he wrote, “This free jet wey I dey fly all around the world dey really pain una. I’m sorry it’s my birthright. In my next life, I go come back as vulcaniser. Ma binu.”

Davido has often spoken about how his background attracts hate in the music scene, despite the fact that he has built his own brand and career over the years. He believes people still struggle to give him credit because of where he comes from.
