Ric Hassani Calls Out Fans Who Threaten to Withdraw Support
Nigerian singer Ric Hassani has expressed frustration with individuals who claim they will stop supporting certain celebrities. In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), the artist criticized the mindset of fans who believe their support holds overwhelming influence over an artist’s success.
He tweeted: “Someone just wakes up in Ijebu Ode and says, ‘you’ve lost my respect’ or ‘you’ve lost a fan’… Y’all must not know what miggas went through to get where they are.”
Hassani added, “You’ve lost a fan bawo? If you don’t go sit your ass down somewhere. You ain’t even nobody.”
The tweet reflects Hassani’s stance against fans who trivialize the hard work artists put in to achieve success, suggesting that artists’ journeys are much more than the support of a few disgruntled fans.
