In a statement issued on Sunday, December 29, by his Chief Press Secretary, Nelson Chukwudi, Fubara attributed his anticipated victory to the overwhelming support of Rivers State residents and his faith in God.
“And not just because I want to accept it, I get stronger in this course every day when I look at the support I am getting from the true Rivers people,” Fubara stated.
He emphasized the role of the people in his political journey, acknowledging their contributions, encouragement, and dedication. Fubara added, “The ultimate game changer, the ultimate liberator, and the ultimate fighter still remains God Almighty. And because we have Him on our side, victory is assured.”
