Rodrygo Says He Doesn’t Like Facing Man City in the Champions League
Real Madrid forward Rodrygo has admitted that facing Manchester City in the Champions League is never easy and not a matchup he enjoys.
Speaking ahead of their first-leg clash at the Etihad Stadium, the Brazilian opened up about the challenge of playing against Pep Guardiola’s side.
“I don’t really like playing against Manchester City. Nobody enjoys facing them as much as they do playing against us,” Rodrygo said.
He acknowledged both good and tough moments in past encounters but remains hopeful for a positive result this time.
“I’ve scored a few goals against them and had some great moments, but there were also difficult ones. It’s always a tough game, but I’m in great form and ready to help the team,” he added.
Rodrygo also emphasized that his focus isn’t just on City, saying, “I aim to be decisive not just against them but in every game.”
