Ruth Kadiri to Nollywood Actors: “Don’t Let Producers’ Pressure Steal Your Joy”
Actress and producer Ruth Kadiri has addressed Nollywood actors feeling pressured by producers to achieve 1 million daily views on YouTube.
In a candid Instagram post, Kadiri, known for her successful YouTube productions, called out producers who impose such expectations on actors.
She wrote, “Dear Nollywood actors!!! Take the pressure off your shoulder!!! Any producer who requires 1 million views from you per day has failed! A good production requires more than your face.”
Kadiri emphasized that achieving 1 million views is neither a measure of success nor failure, urging actors not to let ignorance diminish their joy.
In her caption, she added, “The ones who never invest in anyone are the ones with the most nonsense to say about others.”
Her statement has sparked conversations about unrealistic expectations and the value of teamwork in Nollywood productions.

US Freezes Accounts of 7 Nigerians Over Terror Links
It has been noted that US has frozen the account of 7 Nigerians who were accused of having a link to Boko Haram and link to Iraq.
This information was revealed in a statement where they stated linking these Nigerians to cyber security crimes.
“This publication of Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control is designed as a reference tool providing actual notice of actions by OFAC with respect to Specially Designated Nationals and other persons (which term includes both individuals and entities) whose property is blocked, to assist the public in complying with the various sanctions programmes administered by OFAC.”

Federal Government Officially Bans Sachet Alcohol and 200ml PET Bottles
It has been reported that the Federal Government has officially caused the ban of sachet alcohol and 200ml PET bottles.
A statement was released and derived that these products have worsened society by “destabilizing communities, worsening unemployment, and triggering avoidable security challenges.”
“The continued sealing of warehouses and de facto banning of sachet alcohol products is already creating economic disruptions and poses a growing security threat, particularly given the impact on employment, supply chains, and informal distribution networks across the country.”
This act is done in order to improve cleanliness and safety in society and to promote employment, not harm people.

Kwara state releases official statement and denies the ongoing rumors about Nysc corps member dying from Lassa fever in Nysc camp.
