Salah Names Darwin Nunez as Liverpool’s Fastest Player

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah, renowned for his own impressive speed on the field, has identified his teammate Darwin Nunez as the fastest player in the squad.
Salah, widely recognized as one of the premier wingers globally due to his rapid pace, made this revelation during a recent segment for Liverpool’s social media channels, where players answered a series of Olympics-themed questions.
When asked about who would excel in a 100-meter sprint, Salah confidently chose Nunez, stating, “For the 100-meter sprint, I would pick Darwin!” This endorsement highlights Salah’s respect for Nunez’s speed and athleticism.
Cody Gakpo, another Liverpool player, also weighed in on the topic, expressing confidence in his own speed by saying, “For the 100-meter sprint, I would include myself.”
Darwin Nunez, who transferred to Liverpool from Benfica in 2022, has made a significant impact at Anfield, netting 33 goals in 96 appearances. His swift performance on the pitch has earned him recognition as Liverpool’s fastest player, according to his teammates.

Scholes Tells Amorim to Change Fernandes and Start With Diallo and Garnacho

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has suggested that manager Ruben Amorim should adjust Bruno Fernandes’ position for the upcoming UEFA Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur in Bilbao on Wednesday. Scholes also recommended that Amorim start Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho, calling them the biggest goal threats for Man United alongside Fernandes.
In his TNT Sports column, Scholes wrote, “I would start Amad and Garnacho in the final because they pose the biggest attacking threat for Man United, along with Bruno Fernandes. “Moving Fernandes deeper into a central midfield role alongside Casemiro could be the key, especially since this setup has worked well in European matches before. I expect Amorim to start Hojlund too, as he has been decent in the Europa League.”
This season, Man United has lost all three matches against Tottenham, coached by Ange Postecoglou. Both teams have struggled in the Premier League and are currently placed in the lower half of the table. The winner of this final will secure a spot in next season’s Champions League.

Rio Ferdinand Says He Won’t Be Shocked If Spurs Beat Man United Again

Former Manchester United star Rio Ferdinand has admitted he wouldn’t be shocked if Tottenham defeats his old club in the Europa League final on Wednesday night in Bilbao.
Speaking ahead of the clash, Ferdinand pointed out that Spurs have already gotten the better of United three times this season. Because of that, he feels fans shouldn’t be too surprised if it happens again.
“To be honest, I can’t predict a United result,” he told Optus Sport. “They’ve been far too inconsistent this season. Tottenham have beaten us three times already, so if they do it a fourth time, it won’t be a surprise.”
His comments come not long after he criticised United’s transfer decisions over the years and listed four players he believes the club should never have let go. He also took a swipe at the club’s recruitment since Sir Alex Ferguson stepped down.

Lamine Yamal to Wear Messi’s Famous No 10 Shirt as He Signs New Deal with Barcelona

Barcelona are preparing to give rising star Lamine Yamal the legendary No 10 jersey, once worn by Lionel Messi. This big move comes as Yamal gets ready to sign a fresh long-term deal with the club this July when he turns 18. The young forward has had an impressive season and is already being talked about as a serious Ballon d’Or contender after helping Spain win the Euros last year.
Seen as the most exciting talent to come through since Messi’s early days, Yamal is now being fully backed by the club as the face of their future. His new contract will reportedly include a staggering €1 billion release clause, showing just how much trust and value Barca have placed on him.
The No 10 shirt is currently worn by Ansu Fati, but with Fati’s future at the club uncertain, the iconic number is expected to be passed on to Yamal. So far, Yamal has worn the No 19 jersey, but with this symbolic change, he’s stepping into even bigger shoes — and Barcelona believe he’s ready.
