Selena Gomez, American pop star and actress, has officially become a billionaire, according to Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index. Her wealth, estimated at $1.3 billion, is largely attributed to her successful Rare Beauty brand, as well as her ventures in music and television.
More than 80% of Gomez’s net worth comes from her stake in Rare Beauty Brand Inc. She has also seen significant income from brand endorsements, acting roles, and investments in mental health initiatives. Gomez, who rose to fame as a Disney Channel star in the 2000s, is now one of Instagram’s top-followed personalities, with 424 million followers, trailing only Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. Despite her music success, tours account for less than 5% of her wealth, as she hasn’t toured since 2016.
Nigerian singer Asake speaks on his relationship with his father. In a recent interview he shared that he loves his father despite any distance.
“The love is still the same between me and my dad, even if I don’t live with him or see him every day, Even if he points a gun at me, till eternity he will always be my dad, and I will still show him the same love.”
It can be noted that few weeks back the singer gifted his father and his mother a car.

In a recent interview with Korty EO, the singer shared that it was against his father to pursue music. His mother then recalled how he came to turn them down on studying abroad and stated he wanted to stay and learn in Nigeria.
The singer studied performing arts at OAU.
