Olalere Oyewumni, the Senate Minority Leader, has allegedly confessed to engaging in vote-buying during the 2023 election.

In a video circulating online, Oyewumni admitted to using personal funds to influence voters at the Onilu House polling unit. Despite his efforts, his money was reportedly rejected by voters.

Oyewumni expressed his surprise and frustration, leading him to reach out to defectors and encourage their support for the PDP, believing their talents would be better utilized within his party.

It can be noted that the student had already emerged as one of the Gold Award winners in the Middle School Group category.

Nyesom Wike Says He Knows Civil Servants Don’t Like Him

Nigerian politician and FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, has said that he is aware many civil servants do not like him.

He shared that he understands why he is unpopular among some civil servants, explaining that funds previously spent on unnecessary conferences are now being redirected to road construction projects.
