Seventeen-year-old rapper Nettspend, born Gunner Shepardson, has swiftly risen in the music scene with his distinctive sound and style. Recently, he expanded his creative pursuits by stepping onto the runway for Miu Miu during Paris Fashion Week.
Nettspend’s journey began in Richmond, Virginia, where his unique blend of AutoTuned vocals and beats reminiscent of classic ringtones garnered attention, especially among Gen Z audiences. Since his 2023 debut, he has cultivated a dedicated following, leading to collaborations with notable figures in both music and fashion.
At the Miu Miu Fall/Winter 2025 show, Nettspend showcased a chic ensemble featuring a tawny wool set paired with pointy leather boots. His distinctive hairstyle and rectangular glasses added to his edgy aesthetic, seamlessly blending his musical persona with high fashion. This appearance aligns with Miu Miu’s tradition of integrating celebrity figures into their shows, placing Nettspend alongside personalities like Troye Sivan and Willem Dafoe.
The event attracted a diverse audience, including rapper Young Miko, K-pop stars Momo of TWICE and Wonyoung of IVE, singer Ella Gross, Thai artist MINNIE, and rapper A$AP Rocky.
