Seyi Law Backs Tinubu, Predicts Future Relief
Nigerian comedian Seyi Law has expressed strong support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his policies, despite the economic hardships currently facing the country.
In a recent interview on the Mic On Podcast with Seun Akinbaloye, Seyi Law argued that no other presidential candidate, including Peter Obi or Atiku Abubakar, could have performed better than Tinubu. He praised Tinubu’s manifesto, stating that the president has stayed true to his promises and is aligned with the goals he hopes to achieve.
Seyi Law acknowledged the widespread hunger and hardship resulting from Tinubu’s policies but defended the approach, stating that he had prepared himself for the challenges. While he understands that not all Nigerians can endure the same level of pain, he believes that relief will come in the medium and long term. Seyi Law urged patience, recognizing that the current struggles are part of a necessary process for future improvement, though he does not expect everyone to share his level of resilience.

Social Media Users react as US podcaster, Akademiks compares Nigerian Singer, Burna Boy to Gunna. Akademiks stated “Burna Boy is a more succesdul artist than Gunna. Women? They don’t go down, they date up”.
The comparison was prompted with Gunna’s arrival to Lagos state and meeting with Burna Boy. The meeting catches the attention of many as the rapper’s ex-girlfriend is Chloe Bailey who was recently in Lagos and spotted with Burna Boy in different locations.
The interaction sparked dating rumors between Burna Boy and Chloe Bailey, it has yet to be denied nor confirmed by them. Afterwards Burna Boy meets with Gunna, causing debates and speculations to start up online.
Nigerian SkitMaker, Nasobi causes a stir online with a controversial tweet posted on his official account. The skit maker stated that men looking for a serious relationship should avoid a certain type of woman. He stated that ex-girlfriend of Yahoo Boys should be avoided without giving a proper reason.
“If you want a serious relationship, Abeg no settle for Yahoo boy ex-girlfriend.”
Many translate that message as avoiding billing or being used for money. Neitzens commented and many shared their experience with dating that type of women. Others also support his comment and take it as advice.
