Shawn Mendes to Drop New Singles and Launch Tour

Canadian singer Shawn Mendes is set to release new songs on August 8th. Last week, Mendes thrilled his fans with the surprise announcement of two new singles, “Why Why Why” and “Isn’t That Enough,” ahead of his fifth studio album, set for release on October 18.
To celebrate his 26th birthday, the new singles will be released on August 8, followed by an intimate theater tour. Mendes took to Instagram to share his excitement, announcing plans to perform the album live in the places it was recorded. “I’ve never played an album top to bottom before, but it’s already one of my favorite shows I’ve ever rehearsed,” he wrote. The tour will kick off in Woodstock, New York, on his birthday and continue through cities including London, Nashville, Los Angeles, and Seattle, ending on October 24.
