“Uncle Burna, I Have More Hits Than You” – Portable Claims He Has More Hits Than Burna Boy
Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, widely recognized as Portable, recently started conversations online with a bold claim: he believes he has more hit songs than his Grammy-winning colleague, Burna Boy.
The self-proclaimed “Zazu” star confidently expressed his view in a circulating video, asserting his place as a stronger hitmaker in the Nigerian music scene.
In the video, Portable said he wasn’t merely bragging but genuinely felt he had an edge in hit songs over Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu.
Portable mentioned tracks like his single “Tony Montana” as examples of his success, directly challenging Burna Boy’s standing in the industry.
“Uncle Burna, I have more hits than you,” he stated, underscoring his claim with his signature blend of humor and confidence.
Burna Boy, an internationally recognized artist with Grammy and BET Awards under his belt, has established a global presence in recent years, known for major hits like “Ye,” “Last Last,” and “On the Low.”
His albums have received wide acclaim and have cemented him as one of Nigeria’s biggest music exports.
Despite Burna Boy’s achievements, Portable, known for his raw, street-style music and unique personality, feels that his consistent releases resonate just as strongly within Nigeria and claims his music holds its own among fans.
