Sky B Speaks on Lack of Support From Younger Artistes
Nigerian singer Sky B has shared his thoughts in a recent interview, stating that musicians who emerged after him from Port Harcourt have not supported him or reached out to him.
The singer revealed that he helped several artistes in their early days, yet many have failed to support him after finding success.
“I once gave a PA to the Governor an artiste’s number and he called the artiste and told him he wants him to perform with me at an event and the artiste declined that he doesn’t want to share a stage with me. The artiste rejected the contract because he doesn’t want me to be part of the deal.”
VeryDarkMan shares that he was warned by Burna Boy once that the Nigerians he fights for will one day turn on him.
He shared “Burna Boy warned me, he said the Nigerians I’m fighting for will backstab me. They’ll put knife in your neck if they have the opportunity.”
