Social Media Reacts as Pete Edochie Criticizes Kneeling for Proposals
Nollywood actor Pete Edochie made headline as he sparked reaction from the public on social media after his statement regarding proposals.
The actor shared that any man who kneels to propose to his partner is a fool, which sparked serious outrage amongst people who believe in this.
He then added that kneeling is not a tradition to us and it was copied from the white people.
“Any young man who goes down on his knees to propose to a woman is not just an idiot; he’s a bloody fool, a compound buffoon. The reason why I’m saying this is simple… we try to copy white people, right? The white man kneels to propose, and you know what it means? The girl takes over the family.”
The Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) has revealed the nominees for this year’s 12th edition. And it was revealed that leading with nominations is “Gingerr” and “The Herd”: they are both leading with 9 nominations.
The nomination list was revealed on the 29th of March.

● Best Cinematography
● Best Art Direction
● Best Documentary
● Best Score Music
● Best Writing TV Series
● Best Writing Movie

And so on
BTS makes headline as they get the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 with their latest song “Swim”.
It can be noted that the song is from their album “Arirang”, which was recently released after their hiatus due to personal reasons. The song quickly reached the hearts of fans and secured the top spot on the Hot 100 chart.
Other songs follow. Top 5 on the list: The Way I Am by Luke Combs, I’m the Problem by Morgan Wallen, Kiss All the Time, Disco by Harry Styles and Octane by Don Toliver.
Nigerian singer Tems speaks on her thoughts on relationships and dating and shares her views on it for herself.
She stated that men these days don’t actually look for love and she prefers not to fall in love now.
“I don’t fall in love anymore because a lot of these men are very obvious, they don’t have any agenda, they just want to penetrate,” she said.
