Tyla now becomes part of the African artists that have crossed a billion streams on Spotify. Artists such as Wizkid, Rema and Tems.
Tyla’s “Water” quickly gained recognition as it started trending on the popular social platform, Tik Tok. The song became exposed to the world and quickly became a global hit as a trend was created with the song.
The dance challenge was loved by many and was participated by majority of TikTok users. The challenge then caused curiosity to the singer, Tyla, and she drew attention from there.
