Spyro Demands Blog Remove False Post or Face Consequences
Nigerian singer Spyro has strongly denied claims that he experienced a career setback after collaborating with Davido and Mayorkun. The singer, who worked with the two stars in 2018 on the remix of his song ‘Funke,’ was reportedly quoted in an interview with Hip TV saying he believed the collaboration would boost his career, but instead, it led to an unexpected setback, despite the song’s early success.
The statement quickly sparked backlash, with many fans of Davido accusing Spyro of blaming the 30BG boss for his struggles. The controversy stemmed from a post by the blog @Naija_PR on X, which shared photos of Spyro and Davido with a caption that read, “My career experienced a setback after I featured Davido and Mayorkun – Spyro.”
In response, Spyro quickly dismissed the claim, stating, “This is false!!! I never said anything like this. I give you 24 hours to take this down or be prepared to face the consequences.”
