Nigerian Singer Spyro starts up a controversy as he claims that gospel singers only start because of the money.

During a recent interview, the singer claimed that many gospel singers focus on the financial gain and not the spiritual gain.

He claims that there are now little differences between gospel singers and secular artists. “The people that claim to be gospel artists or gospel ministers are just artists -they are in the business to make money just like us in the Afrobeats industry.”

Tiwa Savage has opened up about how her pregnancy changed her singing voice. Speaking during a chat on Afrobeats Intelligence, the singer revealed that carrying her baby made it hard for her to hit certain notes, forcing her to adjust some songs on her album R.E.D.

“I was pregnant when I recorded R.E.D. I’d be in the studio, heavily pregnant, crying sometimes. It wasn’t easy at all,” she shared. Tiwa explained that she had to lower the keys on some tracks because her vocal range wasn’t the same during pregnancy.

She also mentioned being the first artist in Mavin Records to have a baby at the time. “Anytime they noticed my energy dropping, Jazzy would tell them to get my cravings, which were eggs and bread,” she laughed.
