‘Stop Kissing Babies Mouth-to-Mouth’ — Angela Okorie Sparks Debate Online
Nollywood Actress, Angela Okorie, takes to social media and expresses concern over acts of when people kiss their babies on the mouth.
The actress expressed that she’s concerned about germs for the baby and questioned why people kiss their babies mouths.
“Stop kissing your kid’s mouth to mouth! Haaa. What happened to the cheek, Kwanu? They are kids; they don’t need your infected mouth, please. Kiss them on the cheek. People will kiss their mother’s mouth to mouth.”
“Kiss your father’s mouth to mouth. Wetin happened to cheek. Oh Jesus. Una dey vex me for this app. Abi, am I old-fashioned? Why mouth-to-mouth kwanu?”
Nigerian singer Ayra Starr continues to make headlines following her performance at the NFL International Game halftime show in London.
The singer has announced the Starrgirl World Tour, a 20-city international tour scheduled for 2027 in support of her third studio album, Starrgirl.
The tour will begin in Europe on January 20, 2027, with a performance in Cologne, Germany, before moving to other cities across Europe and the United Kingdom. The European leg will include Amsterdam, Paris, Milan, Zurich, Brussels and London.
Ayra Starr will then begin the North American leg on March 18 in Houston, Texas. Other stops include Dallas, Atlanta, Silver Spring, Boston, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Toronto, Montreal, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver and San Francisco.
The tour is scheduled to conclude on April 14, 2027, in San Francisco, California.
The announcement follows her performance at the NFL International Game halftime show between the Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on October.
Nigerian pastor Iren has spoken about the contributions of churches to Nigeria’s development and the importance of religious institutions in society.
During a recent service, the pastor discussed the influence of churches in Nigeria, highlighting their contributions to education and healthcare.
He recalled how Christian institutions helped establish schools and hospitals, pointing to the impact they have had on the country.
“When anybody says, ‘What has the church done?’ This is evidence: Igbobi College has produced Yemi Osinbajo, Babatunde Fashola, Femi Gbajabiamila. Baptist Boys’ High School, Abeokuta, produced Olusegun Obasanjo. The first hospitals and schools were built by Christians,” he stated.
Nigerian actress Bisola Aiyeola has shared her thoughts on why women, including those from other countries, are attracted to Nigerian men.
The actress recently spoke about the topic on a podcast, where the discussion centred on why women love Nigerian men. She explained that their intentionality and efforts to make their partners feel special can attract women.
“The average Nigerian man wants to take care of his woman, spoil her, give her everything that she wants. When a Nigerian man wants to toast you, ah, but he go enter you. They know what to say, they know what to do.”
