“Stop Using Celebrity Marriages to Define Marriage” – Nasboi’s Says to Nigerians
Singer and content creator Nasboi has shared his plans to keep his marriage private when the time comes, saying he won’t be airing his personal life online to avoid the scrutiny of strangers.
This statement comes during the ongoing reactions to the news of 2Baba’s split from his wife, Annie. In a post on X, Nasboi made it clear that he intends to keep his marriage out of the public eye.
“I’ll hide my marriage when I’m ready. Nothing online, please, please! I don’t want some random child having opinions about my life,” he wrote.
Nasboi also addressed how some people are quick to use celebrity relationships as benchmarks for their own. He urged Nigerians to stop judging marriage by what they see in the public eye, especially when one high-profile relationship faces trouble.
“One celebrity divorce, and you start saying this thing called marriage isn’t for you. But you forget about your parents, who’ve been married for over 30-something years. Stop using celebrity marriages to define marriage. If you don’t want to marry, that’s your business,” he added.
Popular American singer Katy Perry is back in the spotlight after her recent split with ex-partner and fiancé, Orlando Bloom.
The singer took to her official Instagram page to share photos of herself, captioning it with her mood: “Mood: Quokka.”
Katy Perry was also spotted with her daughter, Daisy, in the photos, and the two looked to be having fun despite the breakup. Fans admired the singer’s ability to stay strong despite the heartbreak that could have been painful.
It can be reported that Katy and Orlando split on good terms; however, it was still tough on the pair.
The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) announces that singer Speed Darlington is officially wanted for the following offences: cyberbullying and rape.
It can be recalled that the singer once took to social media and admitted that he had intimate interaction with a minor. This caused a buzz online; however, the singer claimed that it was a prank.
The so-called prank was not taken lightly, as NAPTIP still arranged a proper investigation into the matter and called the singer for questioning. It was noted that he failed to show up.
NAPTIP officially announced this on their page: “WANTED BY NAPTIP. Darlington Okoye, aka Speed Darlington, is wanted in connection with alleged offences including rape, cyberbullying, and cyberstalking.”
Nigerian singer Skales takes to social media and shares that he longs for his daughter, as he has not seen her in a while.
It can be recalled that there have been rumors about a separation from his wife. While this has not been confirmed, the artist reveals that there has been distance between him and his daughter.
“I miss my daughter so much… I haven’t seen her in a while… she’s growing up too fast.”
The singer’s moment caused fans to speculate further, hinting that there might be some truth to the rumors.
